  • Nutrition plays a vital role in a person’s fitness program. No matter what the fitness goals might be, proper nutrition is key in reaching success. The 3 macronutrients are protein, carbohydrates, and fat. The following is how much of each macronutrient should make up one’s diet:

    • Carbohydrates – 40-60%
    • Protein – 10-20%
    • Fat – 20-30%
